“Journal writing, when it becomes a ritual for transformation, is not only life-changing but life-expanding

Jen Williamson

Journal writing has become more and more popular these days.

Not only teenagers, but even adults start to participate in this pursuit. But the reason and purpose of why someone does journal writing vary.

Some use it to keep track of their goals, some to record their day-to-day agendas, while others use it as a way to cope with life or even to heal.

Journaling has evolved in a lot of ways, too.

Back in my day, journals are simple and usually kept private. I never showed my journal to others when I was a teenager.

While others still choose to keep it that way, some openly share it on social media to tell stories, connect, and inspire.

Whether you choose the former or latter, both are fine, and it’s just a matter of preference.
